Blue Eyes and Intelligent Design

No, this is not an article about Frank Sinatra!

A retired US Air Force Major named George Filer, Eastern Region Director for MUFON (the Mutual UFO Network), sends out an email newsletter that includes brief descriptions, usually with photos, of purported UFO sightings, by state and around the world. [To sign up for Filer’s Files, go to It’s free but he requests donations to help with the costs, and I have begun sending a little money once a year.]

At the head of those reports, Filer often includes a topical piece. This one is a doorway into all sorts of controversies, including UFOs, official history, human-divine interaction, evolution, etc., etc.

Now, the mythology of science states that it examines with an open mind. But anyone who has had personal experience of any of the realities condemned by “official” science knows better. It has taken decades to get official science to examine evidence for ESP,  distant healing, after-death communication, etc.

Finally, we’re seeing cracks in the official wall of denial. On the subject of UFOs, it looks like we’re seeing the same thing happening. So — on to harder subjects, and the subject of creation  is one of them. A very scientific friend of mine cannot see his own bigotry on the subject of creationism:  he assumes that the creationist position is so ridiculous that he needn’t examine it — which strikes me as a curious sort of scientific method!

Anyway, as I say, on to harder subjects. The article’s headline, “Do Blue Eyes Prove Intelligent Design?”, may seem to be a joke, but isn’t. The email he sent included illustrations not reproduced here.

Do Blue Eyes Prove Intelligent Design?

The earliest proponent of the Panspermia concept of seeding the Earth from space is believed to be the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras, Socrates’ teacher. In 1864, Louis Pasteur based on his experiments revived the idea of extra-terrestrial origins of life. This found support from British physicist Lord Kelvin and German physicist Hermann von Helmholtz in the 1870s. In addition, in the early 1900s, the Swedish chemist and Nobel laureate Svante Arrhenius postulated that bacterial spores propelled through space by light were the seeds of life on the earth. This Panspermia view of life in the universe was revived in the context of modern and cosmology by British astrophysicist Sir Fred Hoyle and his Sri Lankan collaborator, N. Chandra Wickramasinghe, in the 1970s. Clearly, this view is totally opposed to the neo-Darwinian concept of terrestrial evolution, but assumes outside interference in human genetics.

Sir Fred Hoyle spent most of his working life at the Institute of Astronomy at Cambridge, England and served as its director for many years. He became a staunch critic of theories of chemical evolution used to explain the origin of life. Hoyle promoted the theory that life evolved in space, spreading through the universe via Panspermia, and that evolution on earth is driven by a steady influx of viruses arriving from space. In 1982, Hoyle presented Evolution from Space for the Royal Institution’s Omni Lecture. After considering the very remote probability of evolution, he concluded: “If one proceeds directly and straightforwardly in this matter, without being deflected by a fear of incurring the wrath of scientific opinion, one arrives at the conclusion that biomaterials with their amazing measure or order must be the outcome of intelligent design.”

There is no other possibility I ‘have been able to think of”… Published in his 1982/1984 books Evolution from Space (co-authored with Chandra Wickramasinghe), Hoyle calculated that the chance of obtaining the required set of enzymes for even the simplest living cell was one in 10 to the 40,000. Since the number of atoms in the known universe is infinitesimally tiny by comparison (10 to the 80th power), he argued that even a whole universe full of primordial soup would grant little chance to evolutionary processes. He claimed: The notion that not only the biopolymer but also the operating program of a living cell could be arrived at by chance in a primordial organic soup here on the Earth is evidently nonsense of a high order.

Hoyle compared the random emergence of even the simplest cell to the likelihood that “a tornado sweeping through a junk-yard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein. When we examine the complexity of life and the improbability of life developing from non-life, we are forced to come to the conclusion that a Super-Intelligent Designer is the source for life.”

To believe that life could have come from non-life would require an incredible amount of faith. The information content of the brain expressed in bits is probably comparable to the total number of connections among the neurons — about a hundred trillion, 10 to the 14th, bits. If written out in English, that information would fill some twenty million volumes, as many as in the world largest libraries. The equivalent of twenty million books is inside the heads of every one of us. The brain is a very big place in a small space.

Because I chased and observed huge UFOs and had them on my aircraft’s radar, I believe the Earth is being visited by extraterrestrials, sometimes referred to as the Sons of God, ancient beings, or nephilim etc. One of my favorite television programs Star Trek may be closer to the truth than we might imagine. I’m convinced there are advanced beings from various planets who travel throughout the galaxy. These alien beings are millions of years older and far more advanced than humans both technologically and spiritually. Through the years I have met dozens of abductees who indicate aliens are conducting breeding experiments to upgrade their offspring and perhaps improving humans as well. They appear to be attempting to change humans by upgrading our DNA, intelligence, physical ability and longevity.

Sharon Grossman, a geneticist at Harvard states, the mutation that gives some people blue eyes appears to have been around for only in the last 6,000 years. Normally, brown eyes are dominant over blue, so we must question how a mutation would occur within multiple people to create a situation where millions now have blue eyes. I suggest this change in humans was not caused by a series of mutations.

The genetics of eye color are complicated, and eye color is determined by multiple genes. Some of the eye-color genes include EYCL1 (a green/blue eye-color gene located on chromosome 19), EYCL2 (a brown eye-color gene) and EYCL3 (a brown/blue eye-color gene located on chromosome 15). The genetics of eye color are so complex that almost any parent-child combination of eye colors can occur.

Mutations that result in the addition of extra DNA are called insertions. Insertions can also cause frame shift mutations, and general result in a nonfunctional protein. I suggest that the amazing change of humans to blue eyes could only occur with the insertion of additional DNA into numerous humans during a relatively short period of time by an outside contribution. I doubt that mutations can satisfactorily explain a population of blue/green eyed and blonde homo sapiens. Therefore, another cause is likely pointing to the insertion of DNA by an outside cause.

Millions of people have seen UFOs, saw them in past and tell of visits by ancient astronauts in Sumerian clay tablets as shown. Various Sumerian, Babylonian texts thousands of years older than the Bible, give significant detail on the aliens called Anunnaki and their intervention into human affairs.

Genesis 6 states, “The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.” The sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them producing giant offspring called nephilim;”heroes of old, men of renown” (Genesis 6:4).

The Genesis Apocryphon, one of the texts uncovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls, also contains references to the angels interbreeding with human women. In this text, a conversation between Lamech, the father of Noah, and his wife Bathenosh is detailed. Lamech questions his wife because he thinks that the conception of Noah was due to either an angel or one of their offspring, a nephilim. The Book of Enoch, the Book of Jubilees, and the Genesis Apocryphon all clearly show that the common understanding at the time of Christ was that aliens from space had committed fornication with women.

One of the types of aliens often reported by abductees is the tall blue-eyed blonde aliens called Nordics, who seem to meet the description of the aliens involved. Science may wish to look for evidence that we are the result of interference from outside Earth and not the result of mutations.

Stories in the texts of various religions make a lot of sense if you consider that what was being described might have been some kind of extraterrestrial contact. I suggest the evidence for intervention is much stronger than the fossilized evidence available. In the book, “In the Footsteps of Eve” by Lee R. Berger Ph.D. “In fact, the entire fossil evidence of anatomically modern-looking humans from around the world, and over 60,000 years, wouldn’t fill a card table. Nevertheless, the evidence points to an African origin for modern humans.”

The aliens seem to treat us as if they were veterinarians keeping their flock in good shape and Upgrading Humanity.

This cave painting is c.10,000 BC and is from Val Camonica, Italy. It appears to depict two beings in protective suits holding strange implements. Evidence suggests aliens have been visiting Earth prior to the dawn of modern man and may have attempted to bring advanced morality to our planet. These researchers speculate that at key points in ancient human history, members of these ET races chose select human women for procreation to inject more intelligent, capable genes into humankind, thus upgrading human capabilities.

This may have been done to upgrade our genetic deficiencies and to enhance their own genetic code to allow them to live on Earth. Our bodies are literally crawling with various types of bacteria that would likely be harmful to aliens. My theory is that alien influence created blue eyes and blond hair for the first time in the history of life on Earth.

I’ve read extensively concerning this subject. Note also Genesis 21:1 where God had told Abraham that he would create a new nation through him and Sarah. Also note that Sarah must have been the key to this because his first son born to an Egyptian handmaid wasn’t acceptable. Also, in Song of Solomon, Solomon’s lover speaks of him as having a ruddy color. And there’s so much more.

Another thought that I’ve had regarding this. Suppose evolution was possible. Now, except for earthworms for instance, all life must have a male and a female. What are the chances that a male AND a female developed at the same time AND found each other, knew what to do to procreate, and lived to have a child, (really a male and a female), AND could raise them in time for them to procreate, etc….WHAT FAITH!

Don’t leave the case for panspermia without acknowledging carbon’s business partner, silicon.
